This Air Jordan 1 Phat Low model has all the style of the original Air Jordan with added features to make it a great sneaker for skateboarding. The Air Jordan I debuted in 1985 and changed the way we view athletic shoes.No longer functional footwear, sneakers became art and the Jordan I was the beginning of a long legacy. Rejected then retroed and re-retroed, but never forgotten.

Another version of the Air Jordan Retro 1 Phat Low has been released in a Black/White colorway. These Air Jordan Retro 1 Lows feature a white leather upper with black patent leather toe and heel accents. The black swoosh is made of Chenille which is most known for being found on Varsity/Letterman jackets. The upper sits on top of a White midsole and Black outsole.

But in the 80’s, before there were the big name skate shoe companies, many skated in the Air Jordan 1 as there were few alternatives available. Jordan Brand, this season, has decided to pay homage to that aspect of Jordan history with the Air Jordan 1 Low Phat. All the pieces of the Air Jordan 1 are in place and little has changed, silhouette wise, but additional padding has been added to the innards and to the tongue. This is similar to what was done to the Nike Dunk as it was slowly converted into the Nike SB version.

The evolving Air Jordan I (1) has seen many different shapes and designs, but the Air Jordan I Retro High Strap collection is quite interesting and very close to the original Air Jordan I. The removable strap takes us back to the old days of the Air Jordan I while the Bred black, varsity red and white combination helps this Air Jordan I achieve its original look.

The Air Jordan 1 (I) (Lifestyle) LS – Sport Red / White – Varsity Red was mistakenly thought to be an Undefeated Air Jordan 1 (I) when it was first seen on Weekly Drop in an interview with someone from Undefeated. It was quickly learned afterwards that the Undefeated Air Jordan 1 (I) was actually a lifestyle release that had not been seen yet.

Sadly for some, because of the hype of the supposed Undefeated Air Jordan 1, many pairs sold for $800+. Gotta love hype! These feature a red upper with blue accents, and a beautifully designed inner lining. The also feature white contrast stitching throughout the upper, as well as an icy blue sole.
